Here are the ingredients for this recipe;
Black tea powder (any brand)
Cardamom pods (6)
Cinnamon sticks (3)
Ginger
Sugar
Milk
First, we need to dice both the ginger and cinnamon to smaller sizes. When this is done, we boil the equivalent of five cups of water in a tea pot.
Next, we add our black tea powder into the water followed by the diced ginger and cinnamon as well as the cardamom spice.
Allow this mixture to boil for up to a minute while stirring it gently. When this is done, take off the tea pot from the heat source and allow to cool for some time.
Filter off the tea leaves with a colander and your favorite Chai tea is ready to serve.
